Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking Travel Surgical Techs for an 8-week assignment in Bakersfield, CA. The position offers 40 hours per week in day shifts, with Auto Offer. EPIC experience is required.

Applicants must hold CST/TS-C, BLS, and be graduates of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Ability to take call and float to Adventist Health surgery locations may be needed. Cases include Da Vinci Robotics, Open Heart, Orthopedics, Spine, and General Surgery.

Qualifications

• CST/TS-C certification is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Ability to take call and float to affiliated Adventist Health surgery locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during a wide variety of surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout each case.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies before surgery.
• Perform surgical counts with the circulating nurse.
• Assist with room turnover and instrument preparation.
