Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a contract in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This role requires 18 months of acute care CST experience, a high school diploma or approved OR technologist program, and current BLS and national certification.

Qualifications

18 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
High School Diploma or Completion of accredited Operating Room Technologist course or equivalent training.
BLS Certification and National Certification required.
Must be able to demonstrate dexterity in the use of surgical instruments and knowledge of the step-by-step procedure for various surgical cases.

Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures and assist as a team member as workload requires.
Perform duties under the supervision of the RN circulator and delegate/supervise tasks to provide optimum patient care.
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, unit staff, and other departments to ensure continuity of care.
