Qualifications

• Minimum of one year related experience or training in a clinical setting and surgical scrub experience in an ambulatory surgery facility.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an approved course for OR Surgical Technologists.
• AHA BLS, MAB or CPI certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical suite, supplies, and equipment to meet safety and infection control standards.
• Ensures sterile packaging integrity and aseptic technique.
• Regularly checks equipment and supplies for proper functioning.
• Demonstrates disinfection and sterilization procedures following center policies.
