Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a travel assignment in Austell, GA. The role emphasizes sterilization, instrument processing, and patient safety, with a focus on maintaining equipment cleanliness and compliance with protocols.

The position requires 1 year of experience and recognized certifications. Night shifts run Friday to Sunday, offering a 36-hour week during a 13-week assignment, starting December 14, 2026.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of sterile processing experience.
• Certifications: CRCST, CRCST-P, CSPDT, or CSPDT-P (one of them).
• Ability to work independently in sterile processing.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and process incoming medical supplies and equipment.
• Perform cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of medical instruments.
• Properly handle, process, inspect, and store critical medical instruments.
• Monitor sterilization equipment to ensure compliance with performance specifications.
• Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
• Prepare packs containing medical supplies, linens, and instruments.
• Follow established infection control, safety, and sterilization protocols.
• Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
