Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Saint Joseph, MO. You will provide stepdown care to patients transitioning from ICU, monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered treatment.

This travel opportunity offers competitive weekly pay of $1,987 to $2,114, comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO after 1560 hours,

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments focusing on cardiac care
• Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care
• Adheres to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines
