Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. The position requires RN licensure, a nursing degree, BLS certification, and 18 months of acute care step-down experience.

This travel assignment offers a 13-week duration with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, providing travel pay and housing options through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze and interpret data; document actual/potential nursing diagnoses.
• Document the plan of care with nursing diagnoses, outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document care plans as medical plans change
