Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The assignment runs 26 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts, starting 11/29/2026.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; utilize nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.
• Document plan of care with diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
