Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Bowling Green, KY. You will monitor telemetry, manage cardiac care, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry and cardiac rhythms, interprets data, and responds to abnormalities.
• Administers medications and treatments per nursing standards, focusing on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educates patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
