Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. This role focuses on caring for patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units with telemetry monitoring and rapid response expectations.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and cardiac-focused treatments.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains safety and comfort of telemetry patients.
• Documents patient history and assessments; notifies physicians of status changes.
• Responds to life-saving situations per cardiac protocols.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
• Maintains patient confidentiality; adheres to safety protocols.
