Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Missouri. The ideal candidate has one year of Stepdown experience and a current MO RN license, plus PCCN certification, and will monitor telemetry with strong cardiac care skills.

The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, administration of cardiac-focused therapies, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification.
• Ability to monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
• Document nursing assessments and care plans for telemetry patients.
• Provide patient education on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
