Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Decatur, Georgia. You will monitor telemetry, administer cardiac care, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to provide safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in Georgia.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and cardiac status and notify physicians as needed.
• Respond to life-saving situations following cardiac protocols.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
