Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Rock Island, Illinois. The role offers 13 weeks with 48 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, primarily in a Stepdown unit.

IL licensure is required, IA licensure on offer, and travel experience is preferred. The position requires BLS/ACLS, hospital stepdown experience, and the ability to float to nearby Quad Cities facilities along the IL-IA border.

Qualifications

• 1 year of stepdown experience is required.
• IL state license is required; IA license on offer.
• Not employed by UnityPoint in the last 12 months.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour night stepdown care for assigned patients.
• Float to Quad Cities facilities as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and respond to emergencies.
