Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio. The role is Step down Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.

The assignment is 13 weeks long with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30). The contract type is travel; candidate must have 18+ months of stepdown experience and an Ohio or compact license.

Qualifications

• 18 months of combined perm experience in the specialty applying for.
• 18 months of recent Stepdown experience; travel experience will suffice.
• Must have perm Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate must be completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a Stepdown unit with potential to float to other units as needed.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver safe and effective patient care.
• Complete assessments and document patient progress accurately.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
