Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Springdale, Arkansas. This 13-week assignment requires a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour day shifts. Active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS, and 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience are required.

Travel pay includes housing or housing allowance, and comprehensive benefits through MedPro. You will join top facilities nationwide through MedPro Experience®, with weekly pay,

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Documents the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education.
• Revises and documents the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
