Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and LTC/Rehab experience for a long-term care facility. The role requires an active MO state license and at least 1 year of SLP experience, with new grads welcome if Level II clinical experience is complete.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8-hour days, in a facility-based setting, with comprehensive benefits and potential housing or travel reimbursements. No weekend duties unless holidays require coverage.

• CCC-SLP certification required
• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required
• LTC or Rehab setting experience required
• New graduates considered if they have completed Level II clinical experience (Level I observation experience alone is not sufficient)
• Adherence to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics required

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop and adjust individualized plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services or make referrals as needed
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Document all required clinical information in the electronic documentation system in accordance with company policy
• Accurately record treatment minutes per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Participate in required meetings such as patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings
• May supervise and support CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists

Responsibilities

• Long-term care setting within the Speech Language Pathology unit
• Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour days
• Flexible start times between 6AM and 10AM as long as consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehab
• No weekend work required unless a holiday falls within the Monday-Friday schedule, in which case hours may be made up on the weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Compact license accepted

• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted
