Job summary

American Traveler seeks an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist with a Texas license and at least 1 year of experience for a rehabilitation hospital setting.

The role offers 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with one weekend per month and travel/licensure accommodations.

Local candidates are welcome with a 50-mile local rate. First-time travelers accepted, housing allowance, and comprehensive benefits complete the package.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas SLP license required (or license eligibility if applicable)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an SLP
• 1-2 years of LTAC, Acute Care Hospital, or Med-Surg experience preferred with recent experience required
• Pending license accepted

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Requires 1 weekend of coverage per month
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted, with local rate applied within a 50-mile radius
• RTO must be requested and approved at time of submission; requests will not be approved after an offer is made
• Cannot request every holiday off
• Call-outs must be reported with more than 24 hours notice
