Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse healthcare settings. The role involves individualized therapy, progress monitoring, and adapting care to various clinical environments.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing therapy, and collaborating with care teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current SLP license in the applicable state.
• ASHA certification or eligibility as required.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide swallowing and feeding therapy when appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies.
• Recommend appropriate communication techniques or assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
• Adapt effectively to different facilities, patient populations, and clinical workflows.
