Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, NM. The position offers 40 hours per week, days shift, with travel benefits and comprehensive coverage.

The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Required qualifications include a valid SLP license and current BLS; Master's degree and CCC-SLP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license (state).
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and goals.
• Document progress and maintain EMR records accurately.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers.
• Maintain infection control and safety during sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development.
