Job Summary

Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) position located in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation services for patients with speech and language disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing specialized treatment programs, documenting patient care, and ensuring clinical competence to meet patients' age-specific needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 10/05/2026 to 01/02/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program; current licensure in the state of practice; Certificate of Clinical Competence or documented acceptance in Clinical Fellowship Year; BLS certification required; ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers; strong interpersonal and human relation skills; proficiency with computer software applications used in patient care environments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing direct patient care within a typical direct patient care environment, including standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, stretching, and responding quickly to patient needs. Must possess physical agility, adequate hearing and visual acuity, fine motor skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Use of standard precautions is required due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids. Effective communication skills are necessary for reading, writing, and speaking, including the periodic use of a personal computer.
