Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services seeks a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for an acute care hospital setting in Oakland. You will evaluate and treat pediatric and adolescent patients, with Monday–Friday 8-hour days and travel between facilities as needed.

CCC-SLP certification and BLS are required, with at least two years of experience including hospital exposure; PICU and children's hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, with ≥1 year in a hospital.
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients is essential.
• Experience in PICU or children's hospitals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric and adolescent patients in acute care.
• Provide speech therapy services during typical 8-hour days, Monday–Friday.
• Collaborate with medical team to support communication and swallowing needs.
