Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Powell, Tennessee. The role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders in a variety of settings, with a focus on high-quality patient care.

You will work 40 hours per week on day shifts, for 13 weeks, with travel accommodations provided and a supportive clinical team to assist you throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
• Current CCC-SLP
• Experience welcome but new grads considered

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patients
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals
• Document progress in the EMR with accuracy
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices
