Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Concord, MA. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations in a facility setting.

Responsibilities include designing therapy plans, tracking progress in the EMR, educating patients and families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Eligible to practice as SLP in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patients.
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Record progress and document in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
• Engage in professional development and quality assurance activities.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
