Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Anaheim, CA. This role requires licensure in California and a current BLS certification, with a focus on evaluating and treating pediatric and adult patients across diverse settings.

As part of our team, you’ll deliver evidence-based therapy, document progress in the EMR, and collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience welcomed; new grads may apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments.
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Document progress and maintain EMR records accurately.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and regulatory standards.
• Engage in quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
