We are seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 26-week acute care contract in Hilo, Hawaii. This hospital-based opportunity offers the chance to work with adult patients in a collaborative medical setting while supporting communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall functional recovery.

Responsibilities

Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
Treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Provide dysphagia management and patient/caregiver education.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, PT, OT, case management, and other care team members.
Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
Work independently and demonstrate strong clinical judgment in an acute care environment.
