Job summary
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Dayton, Ohio. You will evaluate and treat patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility, focusing on speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.

Qualifications
- Active Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility.
- Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Previous SNF/LTC or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia management and cognitive-communication disorders preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient care skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide skilled dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including appropriate swallowing strategies and patient education.
- Work with patients recovering from strokes, neurological conditions, illness, injury, or hospitalization.
- Address cognitive-communication deficits involving memory, attention, problem-solving, and executive functioning.
- Help patients improve functional communication and independence in daily activities.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, dietary services, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
