HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Augusta, Georgia. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week with a day shift of 8 hours and is supported by MEDITECH EMR and a therapy team.

Ideal candidates will have MBSS, dysphagia, cognitive assessment skills, CCC and stroke rehab experience, plus GA licensure; VITAL STIM, BIONESS, PNEUVEST and related tools are used in this setting.

Qualifications

• MBSS and dysphagia skills required.
• Cognitive assessment and treatment skills required.
• CCC certification preferred? (CCC)
• Stroke rehabilitation experience preferred.
• GA license is required.

General Information

• Number of Beds - 28
• Number of Staff – Full time Therapy staff ( 4 PT and 1 PTA, 4 OT and 2 COTA, 2 Techs) PRN: 3 SLP and 25 PRN OT/PT staff
• Type of staff:
• o Day Shift – NURSING ( DEPENDS ON CENSUS) 1 TO 2 PCT, 14 FULLTIME THERAPY STAFF
• o Night Shift -
• Patient Ratios – PT AND OT: 4 TO 6 PER DAY. SLP : DEPENDS ON REFERRALS : 6 TO 8( 30 TO 45 MINUTES SESSIONS).
• Type of equipment – VITAL STIM, BIONESS, PNEUVEST. BITS VISUAL AND COGNITIVE PROGRAM
• EMR - MEDITECH
