Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist for a 16-week assignment in Kingman, AZ. The role involves evaluation and treatment across pediatric to older adult populations, with a 40-hour workweek, 8-hour days, and a travel employment type.

The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, ASHA eligibility or equivalent, and at least 2 years of SLP experience. Responsibilities include therapy, documentation, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Speech Language Pathologist.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Must possess independent decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Play an important part in helping patients to recover and feel better by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company`s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws.
