Job summary

Towne U.S. LLC in Pahokee, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Expect competitive weekly pay and a support-focused interdisciplinary team.

You will evaluate patients, create therapy plans, treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing issues, and document progress per SNF guidelines. Start ASAP and join a dedicated travel team.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license or eligibility for state licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred/required as applicable.
• SNF experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent clinical judgment and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech-language therapy plans.
• Provide treatment for speech, language, cognitive, and communication disorders.
• Assess and treat swallowing and feeding difficulties as appropriate.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, medical, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with SNF guidelines.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and recommendations.
• Promote patient safety, independence, and quality of life.
