Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Mound City, MO. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, designing individualized therapy plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master's Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Experience in Speech Language Pathology is preferred; new grads are welcome.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and patient goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards in therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
