Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Marshalltown, Iowa. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across ages, creating individualized therapy plans and documenting progress in the EMR.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and maintain high standards of infection control and safety in daily therapy.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse age groups.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document thoroughly in EMR.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in therapy sessions.
