Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Speech-Language Pathologist experience.
• Texas SLP license or licensure via compact.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and to reduce aspiration risks.
• Utilizes various communication techniques to help patients both understand others and express themselves more clearly.
• Leads, guides, and directs the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services within the facility.
• Ensures all services are provided in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Provides appropriate care and services to residents of the facility.
