Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsburg, Kansas. The role involves providing speech therapy services to pediatric through adult patients, with a 40-hour workweek and 8-hour shifts in a travel-capable setup.

Ideal candidates hold a master’s in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA eligibility, with proven SLP experience. The position offers health insurance, 401K matching, licensing reimbursement, and nationwide staffing support

Qualifications

Master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or ASHA.
Must possess independent decision making skills.
Excellent communication with the staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
Communicate patient progress to supervisor and assist with scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws.
