Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Mount Vernon, OH. This role requires evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders across ages, with a focus on evidence-based practice and family education.

You will work with an interdisciplinary clinical team, documenting patient progress in EMR and maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety in a travel setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• CCC-SLP certification preferred or required if listed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress in the EMR with accuracy and timeliness.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
