Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Milledgeville, GA. This role offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts and competitive pay.

The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across age groups, collaborate with a clinical team, and document care in the EMR. Travel benefits include housing support and merit-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Monitor progress; adjust treatment plans and document in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and quality assurance.
