Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week contract in Lebanon, New Jersey. The role requires providing speech therapy services across ages, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour days.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, ASHA eligibility, and strong communication skills. Travel assignments include licensing reimbursement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA certification requirements met or eligible.
• Must possess independent decision making skills.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover and improve speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and post charges daily.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Adhere to company Code of Business Conduct and applicable state/federal laws.
