Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Belle Fourche, SD. The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience, with 6 months acceptable for exceptional backgrounds. You will evaluate and treat speech, voice, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.

The role runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, dayshift. BLS and ASHA-SLP national certification with state licensure are required. Travel benefits and stipends apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensure.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings for voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to relevant parties.
• Provide timely documentation following guidelines.
