Job summary

Jackson HealthPros seeks a travel Special Procedures Technologist in Charleston, South Carolina. You will perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, manage film processing quality, monitor patients, and operate radiology equipment under a 13-week assignment.

Requirements include ARRT, AMA-approved Radiologic Technologist education, BLS, ACLS, state licensure, and interventional radiology experience. Rotating shifts, travel benefits, and housing support are provided.

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You’ll be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of IR Tech experience with references
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Graduate from AMA approved accredited Radiologic Technologist programs
• BLS certification
• State license
• ACLS certification
• Interventional Radiology experience

Assignment Details

• Monday-Friday schedule.
• Rotational 8-hour shifts: 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, and 9:00am until cases are completed on call days.
• Rotational call on weekdays and weekends.
• Float required across departments within Medical Imaging.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
• Procedures include moderate sedation in CT, MRI, US, Radiology, and Interventional Radiology.
• Required uniform: blue scrubs.
