Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST, CSPDT, or CHL) required.
• 3+ years in sterile processing with 1+ year in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of infection control, sterilization techniques, and SPD management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the sterile processing team.
• Oversee instrument decontamination, sterilization, and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain and enforce quality assurance protocols.
• Train and evaluate Sterile Processing Technicians.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve sterilization failures or equipment malfunctions.
• Coordinate with surgical and nursing teams for timely instrument availability.
• Maintain accurate sterilization records and department logs.
