Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech for a 14-week travel assignment starting 09/28/2026. The position offers a 40-hour week, night shifts (10 hours) across four nights, and a guaranteed schedule in a hospital setting focused on diagnostic ultrasound and patient care.

Candidates should have ARDMS and AHA BLS, at least two years of recent ultrasound experience, and Cerner EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of RECENT ultrasound experience within the specialty.
ARDMS certification.
AHA BLS certification.
Cerner EMR experience.
Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to meet travel assignment requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound examinations across the assigned specialty, ensuring high-quality images aligned with clinical indications.
Position patients, select appropriate protocols, and adjust technique to optimize diagnostic information.
Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, and document findings in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
Communicate results with interpreting physicians/radiologists, including measurements and any abnormal findings.
Maintain equipment, comply with infection control standards, and protect patient privacy and safety.
Participate in required holiday coverage as defined by the assignment.
