Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a Gen/Vascular assignment in Pasadena, Texas. This 13-week travel role offers competitive pay, benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

The ideal candidate completed an accredited ultrasound program, has at least one year of experience, and holds a current BLS. Texas licensure and ARDMS/ARRT credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and prioritise comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to perform sonographic procedures effectively.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
