Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support a Speech Language Pathologist in delivering services across clinical and educational settings. The role includes documentation, treatment activities, and adherence to the plan of care with state- and contract-based requirements.

The position is travel-based, with patient-centered responsibilities and a focus on meeting professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program.
• Minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work or clinical experience as required by state/contract.
• Current certification or licensure as an SLPA in the State of Practice.
• One year of prior SLPA experience preferred.
• TB questionnaire and health certifications as per contract/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services.
• Engage in clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment activities within POC scope.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards of practice.
