AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The position spans 13 weeks, with 37 hours per week across day shifts, offering immersive experience in a multi-site school setting.

The SLPA will support licensed SLPs in screening, assessment, and treatment, implement IEP-driven programs, and partner with teachers to boost students\' communication skills throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Appropriate degree in Communication Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current AK SLPA license or eligible for the same.

Responsibilities

• Assist speech-language pathologists in assessment and treatment in a school setting.
• Implement the treatment program or IEP as designed by the supervising licensed SLP.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom activities to improve communication skills of students.
