Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment at a facility in Waco, TX. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Required qualifications include a Texas SLP license and current BLS. Preferred are a Master’s degree, CCC-SLP, and flexibility for travel. Comprehensive benefits and travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license for Texas or eligibility to practice
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred)
• CCC-SLP certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patients
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals
• Document progress clearly in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions
