Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Waynesville, MO. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages, developing individualized treatment plans.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain detailed documentation, and educate patients and families on communication strategies. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and travel support.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patients.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and goals.
• Document progress and maintain accurate EMR notes.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
