AHS Staffing is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Tacoma, Washington. The 13-week assignment runs 32.5 hours per week, with 8-hour days in a travel role.

As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been affected by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries, in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Washington State license.

Responsibilities

• Manages specialized materials and environment for the speech and language program.
• Provides educationally related communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders.
• Assesses speech and language skills and supports IEP goals with teachers.
• Provides resources, modeling strategies and training to other team members in communication interventions.
• Communicates assessment results and progress to school staff, parents and students as appropriate.
