Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Oak Bluffs, MA. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

This role offers comprehensive benefits, per diem pay, and support from a dedicated clinical team, with 40-hour weeks and 8-hour shifts. License reimbursement and ongoing professional development are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license compliant with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices
• Track patient progress and document in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and home-based exercises
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance during therapy sessions
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
