TotalMed Allied is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Houston, Texas. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has ASHA certification, BLS, and state licensure with 1 year of experience; new grads may be considered for exceptional candidates. This travel position offers 40 hours per week and a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months to 1 year of experience as an SLP; newer grads considered for exceptional candidates.
• ASHA-SLP Certification with state licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform screenings and patient evaluations.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and therapies.
• Document progress and communicate with care team per guidelines.
