Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Perris, CA. The role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders across age groups, with a focus on evidence-based therapy and patient education.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist Licensure in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessments
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and safe swallowing practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Ensure infection control and safety in therapy sessions
• Engage in professional development to stay current in practice
• Perform additional duties within scope of practice
