Job summary

AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time, school-based assignment in Oregon. The role serves K-12 students across a 2026-2027 school year, with a 13-week duration and a 22-hour weekly schedule.

The SLP will assess and treat speech and language disorders, collaborate with educators and families, and support students' academic success within the IEP framework.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Oregon SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CF candidates may be considered.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding communication needs, accommodations, and educational programming.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment notes, evaluation reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable).
• Support students' communication skills across educational settings to maximize academic and social participation.
• Consult with staff regarding classroom strategies and communication supports.
