Advantis Medical Staffing seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel contract at Kindred Hospital - Ontario in Ontario, CA. The role pays $2,701 per week on a Days shift (5x8 schedule) and involves hospital-based patient care and collaboration with the care team.

You will perform assessments, provide therapy within your scope, document progress, operate relevant equipment, and educate patients and families to support safe-swallowing strategies.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function and establish individualized treatment plans
• Deliver skilled therapy for communication and swallowing disorders across the assigned caseload
• Assess and manage dysphagia, including diet-texture recommendations and participation in instrumental swallow studies when assigned
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and safe-swallowing strategies
